Adventure Consultancy Launches New Weekend Experience
Our new Wild Swimming weekend experience launches in Shropshire this May.

Wild Swimming: Cold-Water Contrast Therapy Weekend
We're excited to announce the first of our brand new weekend experience series, kicking off this May with a Wild Swimming and Cold-Water Contrast Therapy Weekend at Ginny Hole, Stottesdon.
What's Included?
At £375 per person, this fully catered, pod glamping weekend has been designed to give you the skills and confidence to take on wild swimming independently. Whether you're already comfortable in open water or completely new to cold-water dipping, this weekend is built for you.
Your weekend includes wild swims, a wood fired sauna, sound bath, a spring fed lake, and home cooked food to warm you up afterwards. You'll stay in heated glamping pods in a private setting, with limited numbers to keep things sociable and personal.
What Will You Learn?
Led by Dan Shotton, Cold-Water Coach, over the course of the weekend you'll cover:
- How to swim safely in the wild
- How to read water and assess hazards and risks
- How to understand and control your body's cold-water response
- The science behind the health benefits of cold water and contrast therapy
Initial sessions take place on the spring and stream fed lake on site, with a weather-dependent walk up to a lake on Brown Clee Hill also on the agenda.
When and Where?
28th to 30th May 2026, Ginny Hole, Stottesdon.
